The sectors of the blue economy in Galicia are exposed to an increasingly complex environment for both international competition and the different levels of regulation and decision making. The sustainability and competitiveness of the activities carried out by these sectors goes hand in hand with new challenges related to foreign trade, but also with the internal market, as well as with policies of competition, economy, employment and the environment.

Galicia must face many challenges in this new scenario, overcoming the weaknesses it presents as regards legal knowledge, weaknesses that directly affect the profitability of productive activity.
